ABOUT DAMEION Dameion began studying bodywork in 1999. Dameion has completed a combined 1360 hours and 3 years of training in massage/ Bodywork along with an advanced “Year II extra training” study in traditional 10 series Structural Integration, created originally by Dr. Ida P Rolf, Advance Joint Mobilizations and Myofascial Release. He also completed the NCETMB National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork in July 2011. |
Dameion uses his knowledge and experience from massage therapy school to incorporate things like T-bars and unique muscle tools into his practice. These tools are mandatory in the removal of the most established and stubborn adhesion and scar tissue. Plantar fascitis, fibromyalgia, migraines, neck pain, and back pain are often all a result of common adhesions, metabolized waste, or scar tissue creating poor soft tissue hygiene and can result in tension, dysfunction, and pain.
Structural Integration is a regimented 10 series of Myofascial Release hands-on physical manipulation sessions sometimes called "the recipe". This type of work will comb through 7 layers of muscle tissue from superficial to deep tissue and fascia to realign unbalanced tissue around a center gravity line, maximizing the length of the core to recreate the most functional designed body. My techniques are applied through the clothes and without lotion to manipulate muscle tissue directly and restore balance with the removal of hundreds of knots per session.
